Blind Side/The Proposal

I've been hearing rave reviews about The Blind Side, starring Sandra Bullock. Could this earn her an Academy Award nomination? We'll see.
The last movie I saw her in, The Proposal, was not my favorite. I thought the chemistry between her and Ryan Reynolds was lacking. This made the movie kind of awkward to watch. It seemed like the funniest parts of the movie were shown in the previews. It was predictable and I lost interest half way through. By the end of the movie, I didn't really care what happened to the characters. Maybe I was just expecting too much from this film and it didn't pay off.

On the other hand, The Blind Side sounds like it contains a well-rounded storyline, drama, comedy and an inspirational plot! Hopefully I'll get to watch it soon. When I do, I'll be posting my review.
